Offsite mode for professional degree education on civil engineering was proposed in Tongji University from 2006. It is an effective method for the training of high-level technical and project management personnel, it has significant advantages and distinctive features. Moreover, this mode of education is in its infancy at now, haven't formed a mature system with some limitations and defects, need to be constantly refined and improved. The paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of this mode of education, and on the basis of discussions on the mode of education propose some improvements in order to improve Development of Professional degree education model of civil engineering for remote teaching. |
