The implementation of the new Early Childhood Education degree has begun during the 2010/2011 academic year at the University of Granada. The purpose of this study has been to gather information on the progress of this degree to have a parallel overview about the institutional assessment which the Committee for Quality Assurance is conducting. Using the focus group as qualitative evaluation tool we knew the strengths and weaknesses of the degree through the voice of the students who are leading the process of implementing this new degree.
