Formation mathematical competens at the process students independent work are considered. For realization competency approach to the independent work we used an active, system, personally-oriented approachs. contextual learning, interdisciplinary integration. The inclusion of computer technology has transformed the reproductive work to work with the elements of research, with creative tasks. Many years of practice of independent work has proven its effectiveness. In the article clarifies the notion of mathematical competence. Its structure is a combination of four components: cognitive, activity, motivational-value, effective-estimated effectively. As levels of active component mathematical competens we propose levels learning by V.P.Bespalko. To test the effectiveness of the work was developed control (Verification) work, tasks that correspond to levels of active component mathematical competens. Given that at the present time has not yet developed uniform criteria for evaluating mathematical competence, then presented in the article the method of estimation of mathematical competence and experience of its application are of practical interest. Results formation mathematical competens proofs effectiveness our method of organization students independent work with computer technologies.
