Description:
Spanish universities are currently in the process of establishing the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). For a set time period, two models of education have been running alongside one another: the first is a conventional model, based on the lecturers’ teaching and the other, currently in an experimental phase, is adapted to the EHEA and is based on the students’ learning. The aim of the study is to assess the differences between these models of education using a survey conducted with 310 lecturers. The results show that there are significant differences between these models of education. These results coincide and are complemented by a parallel qualitative study.
