The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of creative writing approach to attitudes towards writing in the Turkish course in Primary School 5. Grades. This research has been conducted with 53 students of 5th grades who are in the centre of the province Denizli and belongs to a middle socio-economic level primary school. The pre-test and post-test control group experimental design has been used in this 11-week study. The Creative Writing Approach for the experimental group (n: 27) and Turkish Educational Programme has been implemented for the control group (n: 26). "Writing Attitude Scale", developed by Susar (2009), has been used to obtain data. t-test has been used to analyze the data. The following conclusions have been reached as a result of the research; 1-There is no significant difference in the pre-test results of the experimental group and control group. 2- There is no significant difference in the average results of pre-test and post-test in the control group. 3- Significant differences have been detected between the average results of pre-test and post-test in the experimental group. 4-Significant differences have been detected between the average results of pre-test and post-test between the control group and experimental group. In the light of data obtained, it can be said that the creative writing activities affect the writing approach positively.
