The changes which take place in modern society affect the lives of the young people, especially cause the formation and development of the younger generation. In the context of our work is considered in the process of self-determination among young people, as a manifestation of an active social position, independence, ability to self-development are the main characteristics of youth. The purpose of the study is to determine the characteristics of self-manifestation of the crisis. The paper analyzes the theoretical and empirical research on the issue of self-identity. The results of empirical studies of the process of self-manifestation of the crisis on the example of students of vocational schools. The study identified the dominant characteristics of the process of self-determination, as well as the crisis of self-manifestation of the students of professional schools. The sample of the study was group of 104 different people. The research results presented in the article may be used by psychologists and social workers in the implementation of developmental, corrective and preventive actions in work with young people.
