Description:
In this paper we present the first draft of theUniversity of Vienna ePortfolio framework which is closelyinterlinked with the university-wide eLearning strategy.Conceptually the aims of the framework are to bridge thegap(s) between different ePortfolio conceptualizations inorder to provide orientation, to integrate ePortfolio on acurricular level within the context of a university-widecommunity, and to envision ePortfolio as a tool for qualitydevelopment for the study programmes. In order toillustrate the direction Vienna University is takingconcerning curricular integration as well as to present themethodology currently being developed in more detail, wewill present the Media Competencies Seminar as a case of anePortfolio-implementation into a mini-curriculum, using anadaptation of creative writing techniques as didacticalmethodology.
