Description:
The normal force is one constrain force that arises from the contact between a body and a surface. The origin of the normal force conservative is little discussed. This paper show the conditions under which the normal force is conservative. Which occurs when the surfaces in question does not change over time. Additionally, we propose a pseudo-potential function energy when the normal force is not conservative. From energy considerations, we obtain the equation of motion for a particle under a normal force.
