In this article we analyse the presence or musical education in scholarship system during the period 1939-1975 in Spain. We also study the presence of music in educational laws during the period in primary and secondary schools, as well as the professional teaching formation forward to teach the materia, making the differences between professional and general education.The assignation of musical education to general population to other institutions (non only scholar but political) “Frente de Juventudes” and “Sección Femenina” gives a new characteristics to the way of teaching, selecting contents, and general concept of musical education in men and women and it is directly related to several process of ideological transmission in and out the school.
