dc.description Cet article a pour objectif d’inciter l’enseignant désireux de mettre en place un dispositif d’enseignement/apprentissage des langues à distance en utilisant une plate-forme de téléformation à se poser la question du choix de l’outil. Après avoir défini ce qu’est une plate-forme et démontré l’intérêt des plates-formes dites ‘ouvertes’ librement téléchargeables sur internet, nous proposons de nourrir la réflexion du praticien par un questionnement relatif au recensement et à l’évaluation des plates-formes à travers l’exemple de la mise en place du dispositif CLESAD (CLES A Distance).<br>This paper aims to help teachers willing to set up distance language learning environments with the help of Learning Management Systems question the choice of the technological tool they are planning to use. After giving a definition of Learning Management Systems and showing the advantages of open-source LMSs, the author aims to give teachers food for thought by asking questions related to finding and assessing such tools through the example of CLESAD (a distance learning and teaching environment for students willing to take the CLES certification exams).
