Description:
The main purpose of this study was to analize, through the oral tradition literature, one of the folk demonstration held in the State Vargas entitled: Diablos Danzantes de Naiguatá. The methodology used was documentary and field with descriptive character. A study was conducted with etnographic method "in situ" for the purpose of gathering information necessary for this research. The sample was a group of people who year after year have been holding this tradition inherited from their ancestors, keeping it up the nerarest possible to the original structure and keep as part of the cultural syncretism, serving as witnesses of the evolution took place in the primitive peoples through multiple demonstrations that have allowed them gradually indentify with the enviroment as well as with the whole of humanity making coexistence group and colectively to meet their basic needs. This tradition is still held every year through that there is a greater number of members of all ages who, either pay a promise or to preserve the tradition, participate every year with the same enthusiasm and fervor.
