This descriptive research aimed at comparing problem solving skills against some of the students studying in the School of Physical Education and Sports. The research was conducted in Ahi Evran University in the province of KırĢehir in spring semester of the 2006-2007 academic year. The research was carried out on 100 students in total studying in the School of Physical Education and Sport. In this study, “Problem Solving Inventory”, developed by Heppner ve Peterson (1982) and “Personal Information Form” developed by researcher were used as data collection tools. In the research, while analyzing the data, with frequency and descriptive tests, forthe comprasion of groups One-Way ANOVA and correlation analyses were utilized. As a conclusion, the relation between total scores of Problem Solving Skills of the students studying in Physical Education Teaching and the variables such, monthly income, their home country and leisure time activities was not statistically found significant. On the other hand, the relationship between total scores of Problem Solving Skills of the students in relation to the variables such as gender, stages of education, was found statistically significant.
