This investigation was practiced by the aim of identifying the views of the science and technology teachers on the nature of science. Data in this research were collected by using the questionnaire “Views on Science Technology and Society (VOSTS)” improved by Aikenhead, Ryan and Fleming (1989) and by semi structured views. Content analysis of data obtained by the questionnaire was done by coding data, which was given as a percentage and frekans, and by coding data, which was obtained via interviews. As a result of these analyses, it is realized that science and technology teachers have wrong or insufficient knowledge concerning the definition of science, the nature of observations, the tentativeness of scientific knowledge, the structure of hypotheses, theories and laws, and the scientific method.
