The article aims to review the influence of the teaching unit of the discipline "Computer software of project design" on elements of a professional designer's thinking. The professional thinking of the designer is formed by the execution of practical works with the gradual mastering in the elements of professional thinking: including image-project thinking designer, professional designer formulation of problems, problem solving professional designer, a professional demonstration of the final version of the art and design activities. A line of current and final practical works by means of which the professional thinking is gradually formed is described. It is proposed to teach students an innovative way to represent the professional and educational activities, referred to as an interactive presentation. Its essence lies in the fact that it is electronic and in the most convenient way demonstrates the advantages of a design project from the standpoint of the designer and the client.
