Description:
Information and Communication Technologies play a key role in the overall process of change experienced by today's society. Before this, it is necessary to consider technology options to be applied by the teacher in the process of education, specifically for the natural sciences. This is the general purpose of this investigation which is directed to propose a guide comprising learning strategies based on information and communication technologies, focused on natural sciences teaching in secondary education. We based our work on Cognitivists and Constructivists learning theories as well as systemic theory of Gagné (1970). The technological aspect was founded on the proposal of Cabero (2007), González and Ogalde (2008). Similarly, tools were designed and applied to teachers to gather information that guided the formulation of the proposal. On the basis of these results and theoretical background we could conclude that teachers are unaware of the alternative didactics to use technology in teaching natural sciences; they do not provide students with orientation to find information on the Web; so a guide is required comprising technology strategies to develop the educational content of natural science.
