Since the early 80’s of XX century, the novel by Guillermo Vidal Ortiz achieved the status of paradigm in the context of Cuban literature, described as the creator of a unique literature, at the height of the "cursed writers." In the scope of the phenomenon of fertility unquestioned narrative, his literary bursts an unusual mode that raises the extraordinary display of criticism. But his work is just one example of the presence in Cuban literature of the twentieth century of marginalization as a focal point of social problems which led to focus on making this preliminary study of a more academic masterpiece of this pear writer. The treatment of marginality in the literary context is the main focus of this work.
