Considered the cultural process of rural development in the context of its sports component. The specificity of the deployment and establishment of physical culture in rural areas of Donbass, found a place of sports factor in the socio-cultural development of the village, shows the dynamics, highlights the problems and achievements. Data for the study were archival materials and publications. It was established that the systemic changes in physical work in the village to designate only the end of the period.
