Purpose: The research studied the performance of some of the psychological status of 64 children and adolescents with arterial hypertension (AH) and obesity according to the level of blood pressure (hypertension "white coat" or "true" hypertension). Methodology: Stage 1 - randomization groups of children with obesity and hypertension, depending on the level of blood pressure as a result of daily monitoring of blood pressure. 2nd stage: a comparative study of the psychological parameters (anxiety, depression) in children with hypertension "true" and AH "white coat", as well as children of the control group on the results of psychological tests. Results: In children with "true" hypertension and obesity was significantly more frequently reported clinical and laboratory markers of the metabolic syndrome (insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, hyperuricemia) and higher levels of anxiety and depression, requiring a mandatory inclusion in their comprehensive treatment of psychotherapeutic techniques. Higher levels of anxiety and depression in children with obesity and hypertension "white coat" in comparison with a control group of children require psychological treatment to the formation of their "true" hypertension. Practical implications: pediatrics, clinical psychology, child cardiology.
