In this study, the primary science curriculum that began to be used first time in 2001-2002 education year, was examined according to its appropriateness for acquiring the aims of science education and investigated depending on the views of teachers who applied this curriculum. The study was done through making an inquiry to100 teachers who have been teaching science at 4th,5th,6th,7th. and 8th grade in 46 primary schools that selected randomly in Çorum province center and Sungurlu district. Percentage, frequency and mean were used to analyze the data from the study. At the end of the this study, it was concluded that teachers found appropriate the new primary science curriculum for acquiring the aims of teachers’ in science teaching at primary schools.
