Description:
Every day it seems more necessary to spread and popularize science, in reference to the correct use of its expressions as well as the meaning of what it really is. There are two essential matters to take into account in science spreading. One is the identity; that is, to what point a new proposal is really science or it is not? The second is related to semantics; are the scientific or technical expressions daily used are always used rightly? Sometimes appear distorted expressions when applied to science spreading, even in not scientific or technical subjects, more confusing than clarifying. In the following the necessity of popularize science is argued, as well as some examples of incorrect semantics and contemporary criteria about what is science, and what is not.
