Enfin, des applications par le biais d’enregistrements et de questionnaires seront analysées.<br>This article aims at showing that intelligible pronunciation is the key to the “successful” transmission of a consistent oral message in English. Phonological awareness should be implemented before any phonological or phonetic training, with the teacher’s mediation and the learners’ active participation. This action-research was carried out with a group of ESP students in the sciences. First, the specific features of English for the sciences will be presented. Then the system for raising phonological awareness and its implementation (responsibility, mediation) will be described as well as a theoretical and practical approach. Finally applications by means of student recordings and questionnaires will be analysed. |
