The article discusses concepts «culture of professional thinking» and «professional skill» in the course of preparation of the technician of a machine-building profile. Article purpose - to consider criteria of realization of new educational model and to show that in a new educational paradigm the student becomes the subject of informative activity, instead of object of pedagogical influence, and also active, creative activity trained, far from a simple reproduction becomes result, it confirms that the modern person should not only possess a certain volume of knowledge, but also be able to study: to search and find the necessary information, to solve those or other problems, to use various sources of the information for the decision of these problems, constantly to acquire additional knowledge. The analysis of all approaches to structure and the maintenance of the is professional-significant qualities presented in given article, has allowed to synthesize cumulative multicomponent structure of culture of professional thinking and the professional skill, containing theoretical and praktical-focused, and also the personal-focused components, taking into account specificity of application of information technology in training and education.
