Resumen: El espacio público es un fenómeno de las consecuencias materiales de construcción histórica de cualquier sociedad; un tema de debate siempre actual. Cada día aumenta su inclusión en debates y análisis, en discusiones y reflexiones, tanto a nivel conceptual, como a nivel de propuestas y soluciones relativas a su recuperación como elemento sustancial de la estructura urbana. Cómo poder recuperar su valor de espacio de representación de toda la sociedad que habita la urbe, afirmación dominante de identidad y de las funciones económicas. Por lo tanto la cuestión urbana se significa y sigue siendo un tema de actualidad dentro de los escenarios que construyen la vinculación que la era de la sociedad globalizada, de la sociedad mercantilista; configuran la expresión formal y funcional de las ciudades del presente y las interrogaciones sobre su porvenir.Summary: Public space is a phenomenon of historic building material consequences of any society; always a subject of debate today.
