Purpose This article focuses on pronunciation skills foundation in linguistic students which is the development, implementation, analysis and evaluation of the experience studies of pronunciation skills. Methodology Analysis of the experimental studies results describes six forms of diagnostic instruments of the research of pronunciation skills: test on recognition of pronunciation errors in prepared reading, questionnaire on choice of work strategies on pronunciation skills, test on recognition of pronunciation difficulties, test on word stress, progress dairy analysis, and test on intonation in speech. Findings Experience studies point out that quantity of pronunciation errors reduced after adapting the course of pronunciation experience studies, therefore, the course can be used in university studies to eliminate difficulties of different kinds during pronunciation skills development. Practical implications This paper implies that using offered tests, questionnaire and the dairy can be given to linguistic students to evaluate pronunciation skills. Results The results of the studies described in the paper can be implied in schools, universities or special English courses as a stimulus of improvement pronunciation.
