O presente ensaio busca responder a questão do título, discorrendo sobre a relação da educação com os processos sociais mais amplos, como o poder da economia e da ideologia. Dessa forma, é mostrada a influência recíproca da educação sobre a sociedade e as limitações do atual sistema de ensino, no que se refere em contribuir para que mudanças estruturais aconteçam.This essay seeks to answer the question in the title, discussing the relationship of education and the broader social processes such as the power of economy and ideology. Thus, the mutual influence of education on society and the limitations of the current educational system are shown in order to contribute to structural changes.
