This study aims to determine the attitudes of the students, who studied in the Department of Primary Teacher Education, toward internet use in the aspect of different variables. This study involved 229 students, who studied in the Department of Primary Teacher Education, Faculty of Education in Ahi Evran University during 2006-2007 academic year. In the study was used to “Attitudes Test toward the Internet Use” developed by Tavancıl and Keser (2005) with the aim of collection of data of the research for which scanning method was employed. SPSS 12.0 Method was utilized in the analysis of the research data, and the research data were analyzed by means of the use of the essential statistical techniques. The results of the research indicated that almost half of the students began to use computer during their university years, and about two-third of them used the internet for educational purposes. Inaddition to that, there was found a great discrepancy between the rates of the students’ having their own computers, the time they spent using the internet, and the places where they had an internet access.
