Description:
- The Occident Paideia - This essay shows that the western paideia, since modernity, has increasingly been identified with empirical epistemology, ending up in the loss of two central and constitutional characters: the loss of epistemic practice (in the sense of Kant) and of epistemic aesthetics. The aim of the essay is to point out the need for the present paideia to recover these two forms of knowledge. Without these two dimensions, paideia does not only loose its foundation, but also its sense.
