The research objective consisted in identification of the role of educational orientations in social and professional self-determination of graduates of the secondary And high school. As a method of research the poll of over four hundred graduates of high schools of Kazan was used. Along with the disclosure of essence of educational orientation and, its structures, in research the essential role of educational orientations in social and professional self-determination of graduates of high schools, and also an insufficient forming of these orientations and a mismatch of their components is revealed. The results of the research can be used in social and professional orientation of school leavers.
