Description:
In this paper it is proposed an approach to Nelly Campobello’s Cartucho (1931) from de categorization of the concept “Witness” proposed by Giorgio Agamben in “ Lo que queda de Austerlitz” (2000). The reading will allow a better comprehension of this complex narrative text as an interpretive model that while renouncing more traditional enunciation platforms get to assign the condition of narrative to History, openly and without censorship. Similarly, revising the subjectivity enunciated in this work, horror and quilt will become places of belonging, where the author- on the contrary to the “Novela de la Revolución Mexicana”- will establish that construct called “national identity”.
