Purpose: define the role of social partnership in solving social problems on rural areas. Methodology. The main empirical research methods were expert interviews, focus groups and document analysis. Results. On the materials of Research of Semenov district of Nizhny Novgorod region the article considers several innovative projects for solving local social problems, with realization of which a network of partnerships arose, analyzes the results of social partnership and the challenges for further development.
