This article reports a research experience related to the formative evaluation. The methodology used was the Participatory Action Research. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, participant observation, analysis of testimony, discussion and reflection and the instruments used were the field notes, descriptive records, records of discussion groups and self-reflection. The research route directed us towards the consolidation of a new vision of learning assessment and evaluation strategies concrete and participatory processes consistent with the virtual environments.
