dc.description	Le XXVIIIe Congrès de l’APLIUT en 2006 a soulevé plusieurs questions à propos des concepts de normalisation et de certification en langues dans l’enseignement supérieur, notamment sur la mise en œuvre du Cadre européen commun de référence. Mais cet outil ne représente qu’un élément de la méta-réflexion sur le rôle de l’enseignant en LANSAD à laquelle nous invitent plusieurs développements observés depuis un an, en France et ailleurs : l’inadéquation constatée entre l’« offre » de candidats formés dans l’esprit LANSAD et la « demande » de postes ainsi profilés, le débat sur l’évaluation et la certification en langues, la parution de rapports sur l’utilisation et l’impact économique des langues dans la vie professionnelle, les travaux menés sur la démarche qualité en LANSAD (notamment sur la formation des formateurs)... Nous proposons une réflexion sur le chemin récemment parcouru – et qui reste à parcourir – en termes conceptuels, institutionnels et politiques.<br>Change and development : insight into the workings of our own professionThe XXVIIIth APLIUT Congress in 2006 raised numerous questions about standardisation and language certification in higher education, particularly on the implementation of the Common European Framework of Reference. But the Framework is only one element among many recent developments, in France and elsewhere, which encourage LSP teachers to engage in meta-reflection on their own profession. Among them, the observed mismatch between the « supply » of appropriately trained applicants for posts in LSP and the « demand » of the job market for such teachers, the ongoing discussion on language assessment and certification, the publication of reports on the use of foreign languages in professional life and the economic issues at stake, the work carried out on quality assurance in LSP (particularly in teacher training)... In conceptual, institutional and political terms, we take a critical look at the developments of the past year and those which we feel should be on the agenda for future study.
