The citizenship is a product of the influence of the city, the daily rate, and being part of the metropolis, for through it, an interrelation between subject and its landscape is built. This relation is the result of the constant growth of the city, in the particular case of Caracas, when becoming a modernized large city shapes the citizen configuration. This figure is based on the confusion, loss of spatial memory, temporary and historical, which brings the subject a saturation of the city. It is here when the cultural background appears, allowing the citizen to shape its opinions and ideology, besides allowing it reflections and analysis of its situation, as has been demonstrated in essays as La ciudad escondida (José Ignacio Cabrunas) and La ciudad y el deseo (Federico Vegas). In this paper, the growing up of intellectual personality in relation with his city is investigated. The methodology used comprises protocols of documentary investigation and methodological guidelines of sociology.
