This paper summarizes the design and development of a training course organized by the Institute of Educational Sciences of the University of Seville, in the official call of education courses of new teachers and in the workplace itself and whose purpose was to teach and implement innovative strategies training with college students using QR codes in the official curriculum.The results show that the proposed activities with QR codes offer us a new opportunity to innovate in the classroom from different areas and learning environments, making the subjects more attractive. In this sense to get the most potential this tool has to be counted with enough time for teachers to experiment and evaluate the actions taken with their students, as well as provide meeting spaces which think about the practices performed with this innovative strategy.
