In this research, it is aimed to determine teachers’ perceptions related to the evaluation component of the education program of the primary school education mathematics lesson which was put into practice in the 2005-2006 educational year. A data collecting instrument developed by the researchers was applied to 459 participants selected randomly from among classroom teachers in Çanakkale, Edirne and Eskisehir. Based on the statistically tested collected data and findings, it was seen that, on the one hand, there was meaningful difference between teachers’ perceptions related to the evaluation component of the education program of primary school education mathematics lesson according to variables of the province they worked and whether they took in-service training or not; on the other hand, there was no meaningful difference according to the variables of career experience, educational background, and class level they taught.
