The aim of this study is to define the thematic distribution of doctoral dissertations made in education sciences. Study wasdesigned in qualification research method and the case study was used as model. Universe for research was all doctoraldissertations made in the education sciences at the institutes in Turkey. But sampling group was consisted of 211 doctoraldissertations accessed as on line to National Thesis Centre. In order to collect data, a form of thematic structure developed bystudy was used. Data were analyzed with categorical analyze techniques as frequency. Findings indicated that the main theme was theme of success and attitude in doctoral dissertations made in education sciences.
