The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of how the units are written and physical concepts and theirassociation due to the packaging of products sold in Brazil and the broadcast of advertisements on their respectivespoken and written press. Our concern in this article is precisely with regard to these possibilities and skills in physicsregarding the influence that these advertisements massive means of communication - oral and written - and thepackaging of products sold throughout the country can harm the teaching-learning of physics by bringing erroneouslyconcepts of mass and weight to the Brazilian population. Physics communicates through a language of its own: themagnitudes. From these, they are established standards and are defined units. To what extent these concepts may harmerroneously passed the teaching-learning of physics in the classroom?
