Description:
In Germany there are several training programs focusing the pre- and intervention of ADHD symptoms which a) show good effects in clinical samples and b) should be able to fit school settings. In a study of Dreisörner (2006) he sdemonstrated that some programs ran outside clinical samples, did not show adequate effects. So he declared that in some cases it is not possible to use these programs in the way they are intended to by the authors. Based on that, we started thinking about a training program for schools which does not need any additional human resources to prevent the program from failing by user interference. We came to the clue that adapting Neurofeedback should meet these requirements and will show strong effects. The pretest of the project Brainfeeders tries to find out how well Neurofeedback fits in school settings and how it is being accepted by the students, teachers and parents. The pretest is going to start in 2010.
